A refuge of natural beauties and culture in southern Brazil

A paradise located at the southern end of Rio Grande do Sul, the region known as the Fourth District extends along the Atlantic coast of the state, from the municipality of Guaíba, in the north to Chuí, on the border with Uruguay.
The Costa Doce Gaúcha consists of 20 municipalities, among the most famous cities are Pelotas, Rio Grande, São Lourenço do Sul, Camaquã, Arambaré and Tapes.
There you will find beaches, dunes, lagoons, rivers and many green areas. For lovers of history and culture, there are several museums, theaters, archaeological sites and events, such as the Fish Festival in Rio Grande or the Fenadoce in Pelotas.
Gastronomy is a mixture of Portuguese, Azorean, indigenous and Gaucha influences, resulting in an explosion of flavours. The highlight goes to the fresh seafood, high quality beef and colonial products.
